Hey gang –

So I haven’t blogged in months. Prior to that, I think I blogged 4 times and then hadn’t blogged in almost a yr. Pathetic. If you haven’t noticed, I’m a pretty inconsistent blogger. But all of that is about to change. So many wonderful things are happening and my life is going through an amazing transition as we speak…more on that later…but it feels almost selfish to not share.

Twenty-seven  – yes 27 times!! – in the past 2 years, people that I admire have called me the/a “voice of a generation”. How weird is that? (both the actual coincidence and the fact that I actually counted…) Dr. Cornel West, Van Jones, Speaker Pelosi, President Clinton, dear, dear friends…that phrase just keeps ringing over and over and over again. It keeps coming up in my life and work. So I’ve finally decided to stop thinking it’s so overblown and so arrogant and just embrace it in all of my work moving forward.

My passion is to speak with, for, on behalf of, and to this generation. So here it is. The site will be undergoing some major changes in the next few months and the content is going to be ridiculous. I wish I could share the entire vision with you at this very second, but for now, I’ll just start by simply sharing some thoughts, interesting stories, and exciting updates on here. Check back periodically and thanks for continuing to hang in there as I’ve lived through my online identity crisis. Who knows what the future holds but I promise that from now on we’ll journey together…
